Emergency

Evacuation Notice - Please take a moment to read the fire evacuation notice near your room's exit. All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors, and the motel is divided into 3 zones. If smoke is detected in your zone, a siren will sound, and you should evacuate immediately.

If you see fire, activate one of the external fire alarm switches, notify management, and/or call the fire brigade at 111.

In case of a false alarm (e.g., burnt toast), please call reception to notify us and ventilate your room by opening doors and windows, but only if it’s safe for you and others.

After hours emergency Tel – For after-hours emergencies only, please call 0212219941. Any non-essential calls will incur a call-out fee of $50.

On-site Services

Room Servicing -  Rooms are cleaned daily after our team completes the general cleaning. If you'd like to skip service, simply change your sign to "Do Not Disturb." Please note, room service does not include dish cleaning. Towels will only be replaced if placed on the shower floor.

Parking: We offer limited free on-site parking for guests. Spaces are unallocated unless required for accessibility. If no spaces are available, feel free to park safely on Hallenstein Street, just off Dublin Street.

Guest Laundry: Our guest laundry, located at the back of the building (bottom of the stairs to the left), is open 24 hours. The washing machine and dryer require 2x $2 coins each ($4.00). If you prefer to air dry clothes, there's a clothesline in the garden. Coins and laundry liquid ($1) are available at reception during opening hours.

Luggage Storage: If you have a late flight, we offer secure luggage storage. Just ask at reception.

Instructions

Heat Pump Instructions
The remote is located in the holder just beneath the unit, near the door or light switch in the lounge. Each bedroom and lounge has its own unit for your comfort. To operate, simply remove the remote from the holder and point it at the unit.

• Press the Start/Stop button to turn the unit on. The red light will indicate it’s operating.
• To heat, press the master control until "HEAT" appears on the left side of the remote.
• To cool, press the master control until "COOL" appears.
• For fan control, choose the setting you prefer. We recommend ‘auto’ or ‘quiet’ for minimal airflow.

TV instructions

Use the black Panasonic remote to turn the TV on and off, adjust the volume, and change channels. The TV offers 18 Freeview channels, but does not include Sky TV. For Smart TV features, press the Apps button to access the apps homepage. If you have an existing account with an app provider (e.g., Netflix), you can log in and enjoy your content.

POLICIES

Our motel has a few key policies to ensure a comfortable and respectful stay for all guests – please see below:

Smoking Policy - For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted on the front balconies. Smoking is only allowed at the designated area at the back of the property. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for everyone.

Motel Cooking Policy: No Smelly Food - To ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests, we kindly ask that you avoid cooking foods with strong odors, such as fish, garlic, or spicy dishes, in your room. These smells can linger and affect the comfort of future guests. A cleaning fee may incur if we are unable to remove pungent smells and require assistance.

Damage Policy - We take great care to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for all guests. In the event of any damage to the room or its contents during your stay, a charge may be applied to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

Noise & Outdoor Area Policy

As agreed with the Queenstown Council, please be aware of the following guidelines during your stay:

• No amplified sound/music is to be played from outdoor living areas between 8pm and 8am.
• All outdoor living areas must be vacated between 10pm and 7am to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
